Sales Guide: One Slack Prompt, a Full Lead Workflow in Salesforce

A Salesforce producer types a single Slack message, and Sales Guide creates a Lead, enriches it, and schedules a follow-up task with AI-generated talking points. All in one turn. Get the result back in the same Slack thread with clickable record links.

Producers lose time before they ever talk to a prospect. A hot lead comes in, but adding it to Salesforce takes a few minutes. Researching the company and the right person takes a few more. Drafting a follow-up plan, scheduling the call, and writing notes about what to actually say takes longer still. By the time the record is "ready," the producer has burned 10–15 minutes on data entry instead of selling, and on a busy day, half the new leads never get that treatment at all.

What the demo shows!

In this video, a producer opens Slack and types a single sentence: "Create a lead for Jane Doe at Acme Corp, research the company, and remind me to follow up Tuesday with talking points." That's it. No forms, no clicking through Salesforce, no switching apps. Sales Guide — the AI assistant we built on top of Salesforce Agentforce — reads the request, figures out it's actually three separate jobs, and runs them in order.

First, it creates the Lead in Salesforce with the basics from the prompt. Then it goes out and researches Acme Corp on the public web and through our enrichment data sources, comes back with the company's industry, size, website, the right decision-maker's email and LinkedIn, and recent news that might matter to a sales conversation. The producer gets to see the research, sign off on it, and the Sales Guide writes everything back to the Lead record. Finally, it schedules a follow-up call task for Tuesday and attaches a short, AI-generated talking-points block — not generic small talk, but specific points pulled from the research it just did, like "Acme just announced a Q2 expansion into Texas — open with that" or "Their head of safety left in March, so workers comp may be on the table."

Why it matters?

The producer never leaves Slack. Every step posts back into the same thread with clickable links to the new Lead and Task in Salesforce, so they can verify, adjust, or open the record with one click. What would have been 15 minutes of busywork — split across Salesforce, Google, LinkedIn, and a notepad — collapses into about 30 seconds of waiting after a single sentence. More importantly, every lead now gets the same thorough treatment, not just the ones the producer happens to have time for. The pipeline gets cleaner, follow-ups actually happen, and the calls themselves are sharper because the producer walks in with a real talking-points brief instead of a cold context.

Built for: Insurance agencies and brokerages running Salesforce + Slack who want their producers spending time with prospects, not typing about prospects.
